Leaving behind the old capital, we journey through picturesque scenes of rice paddies and villagers tending to their daily tasks, such as drying noodles by the roadside, as we make our way to the Cu Chi district. Here, we delve into the extraordinary Cu Chi Tunnels, an intricate underground network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters (Viet Cong) during the French and American wars. Our immersive visit offers insight into the life of a communist guerrilla, exploring living quarters, typical meals, and strategic command centers, as well as encountering rifles and booby traps used during wartime. After a delicious lunch at a local restaurant, we return to our hotel for some leisure time. This morning, we set out for My Son, the ancient capital and spiritual heart of the Champa Kingdom. My Son's skyline is adorned with red-brick towers and sanctuaries dating back to the 7th to 13th centuries. Explore the temples and gain insight into Cham culture. Afterwards, we visit a tranquil rice paper workshop nestled in the countryside. Rice paper is the base for tasty snacks like crisps and rolls – we'll learn to make some and enjoy our creations with our hospitable hosts, accompanied by strong, sweet Vietnamese coffee. En route to Hue, we traverse the Hai Van Pass, renowned as the 'Pass of Ocean Clouds', offering breathtaking vistas of forest-covered peaks and the azure sea.

We then proceed to the One Pillar Pagoda, an ancient structure dating back to the 11th century, followed by a stop at the historic Temple of Literature. Afterward, we unwind at one of Hanoi's finest tea houses, owned by a Tea Master Cup champion who sources the best teas from plantations across Vietnam. We'll witness a traditional green tea preparation ceremony and gain insights into Vietnamese tea culture.The following day is free for you to explore Hanoi at your own pace, allowing for independent exploration and discovery of the city's charms.

We make our way to Got Harbour, where we board a modern yet traditional ship for a 2-night cruise.
